President Mirziyoyev to visit Kyrgyzstan to attend SCO summit

On June 13-14, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Kyrgyzstan and take part in the 19th meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State, Kyrgyz media reported.
Leaders of 11 countries, including India and Pakistan, are expected to attend the SCO summit in Bishkek. Presidents of Afghanistan, Iran, Mongolia and Belarus are also invited to the summit as observers.
According to media reports, during the summit, around 1,000 Interior Ministry employees of Kyrgyzstan will be attracted to ensuring security.
In Bishkek and Chui oblast, at the time of the delegation’s visit and scheduled events, the roads will be partially closed.
