Uzbekistan allows import of COVID-19 express tests without registration and relevant certification
In accordance with the July 22, 2020 resolution of the government, express tests for the detection of antibodies and antigens for COVID-19 were added to the list of medical products and equipment imported into Uzbekistan without registration and certification.

In addition, the following medicines have been added to the list of medicines and substances that are not subject to mandatory certification:
- Influenza vaccine
- Coronavirus vaccine (COVID-19)
- Pneumococcal vaccine
- Barium sulfate
- Pancuronium bromide/pipecuronium bromide/Atracurium besilate
- Cefepime-tazobactam
- nitroglycerin
Until March 1, 2021, value-added tax is waived for the import of medicinal substances used for the production of medications against COVID-19 infection.
