Coronavirus and pneumonia cases drop significantly in Uzbekistan
On September 2, 689 people were diagnosed with coronavirus, 93 with pneumonia in Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 158,561 (+689).
Reportedly, 224 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 69 – in Karakalpakstan, 25 – in Andijan, 15 – in Bukhara, 19 – in Jizzakh, 12 – in Kashkadarya, 12 – in Navoi, 19 – in Namangan, 59 – in Samarkand, 20 – in Syrdarya, 16 – in Surkhandarya, 73 – in Fergana, 28 – in Khorezm and 98 – in Tashkent region.
6 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, the official death toll – 1,099.
As of September 2, the number of recovered stands at 150,350 (+583).
Also, 93 people tested positive for pneumonia on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 24,268. According to the Ministry of Health, 212 of them recovered yesterday (17,046 in total).
3 pneumonia patients died on September 2, and to date, the number of deaths from pneumonia is 180.
