In 2021, 31 “athletes” used fake documents to become students of higher education institutions.
The prosecutor's office conducted a creative exam for 1,900 privileged students. 213 of them failed to get 36% of the maximum score. 41 people did not meet the requirements of the creative exam at all.
Constitutional privileges should be provided only by law. But the benefits in the field of sports are defined by 4 legal documents. The number of privileged students has increased fivefold in the last three years, and the number of such privileged competitions has been artificially inflated.
