Uzbekistan receives almost $700,000 worth of vaccine equipment under COVAX program
A cargo of syringes and boxes for their safe disposal arrived in Tashkent.

On March 2, a consignment of $669,000 worth of syringes and boxes for their safe disposal arrived in Uzbekistan, UNICEF Uzbekistan reported.
These devices, provided under the COVAX program, will be used for vaccination with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. The vaccine is scheduled for delivery in mid-March this year.
