Changes coming into force from May 1 announced
Increasing tariffs for electricity and gas, abolishing the practice of returning personal income tax to farmers, creating volunteer groups in emergency situations – these and other changes in legislation will come into force on May 1.

According to Norma.uz, from May 1 the following changes and innovations are provided:
• New consumption standards and increased tariffs for electricity and gas;
• Creation of volunteer groups during emergencies;
• Introduction of monthly financial assistance for the elderly and persons with disabilities;
• Transition to electronic document management;
• Launch of an experiment on the provision of social services by entrepreneurs in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of the capital;
• Electronic permit for the extraction of sand and gravel in river beds;
• Issuance of executive documents online;
• Issuance of 17 types of conclusions – through public service centers;
• The end of the experiment on returning personal income tax to farmers;
• Granting the right to install sanitary and hygiene points through an auction.
