AFC U23 Asian Cup: Uzbekistan beats Indonesia, secures spot in Paris 2024 Olympics
In the semifinal match, Uzbekistan secured a victory over Indonesia (2:0) ensuring a spot at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

On April 29, in Qatar, the AFC U23 Asian Cup semifinal match pitted the teams of Uzbekistan and Indonesia against each other.
Led by Timur Kapadze, the Uzbekistan team triumphed with a score of 2:0. Husayn Norchaev opened the scoring with a goal in the 68th minute of the match. Later, at the 86th minute, opponent team member Pratama Arhan scored an own goal.
As a result, Uzbekistan historically clinched its first berth to the Summer Olympics 2024 set to be held in Paris.
The AFC U23 Asian Cup final will take place on May 3 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. Uzbekistan's opponent will be determined today after the second semifinal match featuring the teams of Japan and Iraq.
