Russia’s oil supply to Uzbekistan via Kazakhstan surges
Kazakhstan's KazTransOil has reported a significant increase in oil transit volumes to Uzbekistan through its pipeline network, highlighting a major shift in energy trade dynamics.

Over the past eleven months of this year, KazTransOil delivered 225,000 tons of Russian crude oil to Uzbekistan. This marks a near doubling of the volume compared to the same period last year, when only 129,000 tons were transported, reflecting a 74.4% increase.
Looking ahead, KazTransOil has also announced plans to transport an additional 4,000 tons of oil via this route in December 2024.
Earlier it was reported that Turkmenistan would increase gas supplies to Uzbekistan. A relevant agreement between the parties was reached during a phone conversation between Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
