Uzbekistan increases EV imports
Uzbekistan imported 20,190 electric vehicles (EVs) valued at $202.7 million during the first ten months of 2024, according to the Statistics Agency.
The figures represent a significant increase of 6,730 units compared to the same period last year, highlighting the growing adoption of EVs in the country.
China dominated Uzbekistan’s EV imports, supplying 20,082 units, making up the vast majority of the total. Other notable contributors included:
• Kazakhstan: 51 units
• Hong Kong: 17 units
• Germany: 14 units
• United Arab Emirates (UAE): 10 units
• United States: 10 units
