Customs authorities prevent illegal export of jewelry worth 819 million UZS
Over 1 kilogram of jewelry was found in the possession of a traveler at Tashkent Airport.

On April 16, officers from the Aviation Security Service of Tashkent International Airport, in cooperation with customs authorities, inspected a passenger en route to Istanbul, according to the press service of "Tashkent - AERO."
During the inspection, the officers discovered more than 1 kilogram of jewelry in the passenger's possession.
The preliminary value of the seized jewelry is estimated at 819 million UZS.
Customs authorities are currently conducting further investigations into the incident.
