The dismissals were attributed to serious shortcomings in their professional performance.

The meeting was convened to present the results of a comprehensive inspection conducted in Bukhara region. During the session, Minister Toshpulatov reviewed the findings of the national working group, which assessed law enforcement activities across the region.

The discussion critically examined efforts in crime prevention, responsiveness to public complaints, service delivery, public order, traffic safety, and adherence to professional discipline and duty execution at both city and district levels.

  • Head of the Legal Statistics and Operational Records Center at the regional police department;
  • Deputy head of Bukhara City IAD and head of the Public Security Service;
  • First deputy head of Gijduvan district police and head of the Operational Search Service;
  • Deputy head of Gijduvan district police and head of the Investigation Department;
  • First deputy head of Kogon district police and head of the Operational Search Service.

In addition, disciplinary measures were imposed on several other officials, including:

  • Deputy head of the regional Public Security Service and head of the Offense Prevention Department;
  • Two deputy heads of the Investigation Department;
  • Head of the secretariat of the regional police department;
  • Deputy head of Gijduvan district police and head of the Public Security Service;
  • Head of Kogon district police and his deputy in charge of public security.

During the meeting, officials delivered their reports and proposals. Clear deadlines were set to address the identified shortcomings. A similar meeting held earlier in Kashkadarya region also resulted in the dismissal of several police officials.
