According to the decree, beginning July 1, 2025, the procedure for granting state pensions and disability-related compensation will be simplified:
• When a person is officially classified as having a Group I or II disability, a state pension will be granted automatically — without requiring an application. Citizens will still retain the right to decline the proactively assigned pension;
• Compensation for individuals with Group I visual disabilities, as well as citizens who served in the military at nuclear test sites or other radiation-exposed facilities, will be granted proactively through an electronic data exchange system;
• If a person receiving a disability pension works for at least one year after the pension is assigned, the pension amount will be automatically recalculated every two years.
Starting October 1, 2025, all services related to state pension provision and cash pension payments via Xalq Banki JSC will be carried out using biometric identification (Face-ID) and citizens’ electronic signatures.
