UzAuto Motors’ market share falls below 56% in 2025 sales report

In 2024, Chevrolet vehicles accounted for 88 out of every 100 cars sold in Uzbekistan. However, in the first five months of 2025, this figure dropped to 82. The most popular model remains Cobalt, followed by Damas and Tracker cars.

From January to April 2025, a total of 135,922 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan, according to a report by Uzavtosanoat JSC.

Vehicle sales by manufacturer during this period were as follows:

  • UzAuto Motors – 76,095 units
  • Khorezm Auto – 35,735 units
  • ADM Jizzakh – 15,520 units
  • BYD Uzbekistan Factory – 7,859 units
  • Asaka Motors – 491 units
  • SamAuto – 186 units
  • Jizzakh Auto – 36 units

For comparison, from January to May 2024 alone, Chevrolet-branded vehicles saw 142,891 units sold — nearly 7,000 more than the total sales of all car brands combined in the same period of 2025.

Market shares of automakers in 2025:

  • UzAuto Motors – 55.9%
  • Khorezm Auto – 26.3%
  • ADM Jizzakh – 11.4%
  • BYD Uzbekistan Factory – 5.8%
  • Asaka Motors – 0.4%
  • SamAuto – 0.1%
  • Jizzakh Auto – 0.03%

Best-selling models in 2025 so far:

  • Cobalt – 54,545 units
  • Damas – 22,409 units
  • Tracker – 13,438 units
  • Labo – 13,326 units (based on orders)

For reference, in 2024, a total of 402,391 vehicles were sold in Uzbekistan, including:

  • UzAuto Motors – 353,730 units (87.9%)
  • ADM Jizzakh – 30,329 units (7.5%)
  • BYD Uzbekistan Factory – 17,132 units (4.3%)
  • Asaka Motors – 489 units
  • Jizzakh Auto – 394 units
  • SamAuto – 317 units
