Sergei Lavrov: Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to Russia will take place as soon as the epidemic situation stabilizes

The visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Russia will take place when the epidemic situation stabilizes, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
“As soon as the epidemiological situation allows, the visit will be organized,” Lavrov said during the New Knowledge marathon.
According to him, the state visit of the leader of Uzbekistan will be truly a breakthrough, since its content is unprecedented.
The official visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow was supposed to take place on June 23-24, 2020. As part of the event, the presidents of both countries planned to consider topical issues of Uzbek-Russian cooperation.
