Masked man tries to rob bank in Tashkent using fake gun
In Yunusabad district, a masked man attempted to rob a bank service center using a fake weapon. Security service officers promptly arrived at the scene following an emergency call and apprehended the suspect.

Details have been released regarding an attempted robbery at a bank service center in Tashkent.
According to reports, on April 18 between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM, an unidentified person launched an attack on the "Turkiston" bank service center of the private joint-stock bank "Trustbank," located at 39 Moyqorgon Street in Yunusabad district.
The individual, wearing a black mask, tried to commit the robbery using a fake weapon wrapped in black insulating tape.
However, in response to an emergency call made by the bank staff, officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Security Service arrived promptly, neutralized the robbery attempt, and detained the suspect.
As a result of the incident, the entrance door glass of the bank service center was damaged. “No harm was done to the bank employees, customers, or the funds held in the service center's cash register. Preliminary investigations are currently being conducted by law enforcement authorities,” the statement said.
