President Mirziyoyev awards Uzbekistan U-17 team for historic victory in Asian Cup
The President of Uzbekistan has honored the head coach and players of the national U-17 football team with prestigious titles and medals following their victory in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup. Additionally, it is planned that both the players and coaching staff will be presented with cars as gifts.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded state honors and medals to the Uzbekistan U-17 national football team, which triumphed in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup held in Saudi Arabia. The commentators who provided live coverage of the match on the Sport TV channel were also awarded the “Shuhrat” (Glory) Medal. The full text of the presidential decree was published by the president’s press service.
“In recognition of their remarkable talent and professional skill, extraordinary determination and resilience, as well as for demonstrating immense courage and perseverance in a prestigious tournament held in Saudi Arabia, winning the Asian Cup and writing a new glorious chapter in the history of Uzbek football; and for actively contributing to strengthening New Uzbekistan’s international reputation and fostering a spirit of national pride and patriotism among the younger generation — the following individuals are hereby awarded,” the decree reads.

“Kelajak Bunyodkori” (Builder of the Future) Medal awarded to:

- Abdumuminov Azizbek – Player, Uzbekistan U-17 National Football Team

Players and coaches to receive cars
The Uzbekistan U-17 national football team is scheduled to return to Tashkent today after 19:00. At the welcome ceremony for the champions, cars will also be presented to the players and coaching staff.
According to Kun.uz sources, the players (for their fathers) will be gifted Cobalt cars, while the coaches are expected to receive Tracker vehicles.
