According to the airline’s press service, the status of the affected flights is as follows:

  • HY9619 (Namangan – Moscow, Vnukovo): diverted to Ufa
  • HY9671 (Tashkent – Nizhny Novgorod): currently in Ufa
  • HY613 (Tashkent – Moscow, Vnukovo): landed in St. Petersburg
  • HY9627 (Fergana – Moscow, Vnukovo): landed in St. Petersburg
  • HY601 (Tashkent – Moscow, Domodedovo): landed in St. Petersburg
  • HY605 (Samarkand – Moscow, Vnukovo): landed in St. Petersburg

The diversions followed a drone raid on Moscow. Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that several drones were shot down over the Moscow region, while one target sustained damage from falling debris. As a precaution, takeoffs and landings were suspended at Moscow airports, and the airspace over the region was only reopened several hours later.

Uzbekistan Airways has advised passengers to stay calm and follow official updates through its official channels.
